It is an honour to welcome you to my site. Let me be the first to congratulate you on your forthcoming celebrations, whether you are getting engaged or planning for that special day. I believe that there is no greater investment than in capturing those priceless moments to hold on to and to cherish for the rest of your life. Memories fade, photographs have the power to make those memories timeless.

About

01. my philosophy

I truly believe that photography is one of the most important things to consider when organising and planning your wedding. I love to be part of that intimate process, working with couples to produce documentation that provides a timeless memory of their special day.

about me

Documenting the moments, telling your story

03. weddings overseas

I am a wedding photographer who specialises in capturing the moments that evoke memories, experiences and emotions. I love to document the intimacy and meaning of those special moments and tell the story of your special day.  I like to shoot weddings from a natural perspective as it unfolds, but I also compose and direct shots through the wedding day when required. I like to maintain a relaxed atmosphere with my clients but more than anything I want my clients to have a fun and enjoyable time.

my PHILOSOPHY

The thought of being in front of the camera can be daunting and is not everybody's cup of tea (it's why I choose to be behind the camera!) but I never allow my clients to feel uncomfortable.
My goal is to approach each wedding from my unique perspective and to provide you with the fondest memories that you can keep forever.
Marriage is an adventure. Let's start collecting those memories.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind

a little about me

Originally from England, I decided to leave for warmer climes and moved out to Grand Cayman. This beautiful bit of paradise I now call my home has provided me with the opportunity to pursue my dreams and passion for photography.  I have captured weddings, engagements, family shoots and events at various prestigious establishments on the island as well as capturing weddings overseas back in my native home land and beyond.

I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of coffee, a football fan, I enjoy travelling, chilling on the beach, country pubs, outdoor adventures, eating great food, listening to good music and of course photography!

getting to know you

I like to make sure your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible. There will be plenty of things for you to worry about on the build up to your special day and the photography should not be one of them! I encourage my clients to meet with me or if this is not possible, to speak to me by phone before the big day so we can plan together a seamless timeline of events that fits into your day. I am also always very happy to work alongside Wedding Planners to coordinate your day and fulfil all of your expectations. The planning also allows me to learn a little more about you both as a couple allowing me to tell your story and give it the attention detail that it deserves.

FAQs

Question 1

How much photography coverage is sufficient for my wedding?

Coverage is dependant on a number of factors, these being the size of the wedding i.e how many guests you have, the length of the wedding and your budget. Cruise boat weddings normally require an hour of coverage, whereas larger weddings may require up to eight hours of coverage.

FAQs

Do you just shoot weddings?

No.....amongst other things I do maternity shoots, family shoots, couples, events, and cooperate shoots. Please contact me for further details or information.

Question 6

I'm thinking about having a creative session or maybe a Trash The Dress session.

These sessions are great fun. They normally take place the day after the wedding, so you feel a lot more relaxed and familiar with the camera. This is your opportunity to let your hair down and if you wish, to jump into the water with all your gear on. These sessions make for some very unique and special images.

Question 5

Why is it worth having a First Look?

In my opinion a First Look are a must for any wedding. This is where the two of you have the opportunity to see each other for the first time in an intimate location on your own. This is the perfect setting to display your emotions which make for amazing photos, after all its all about the emotions and the love. I find that these sessions also help to settle you into the flow of the day especially if you are not used to being in front of the camera.

Question 4

Should I have a second shooter?

A second shooter is always a great option, however, it is dependant on the size of your wedding and how much detail you would ideally like documented. A second shooter would be ideal for anything over a half day of wedding photography, ensuring that you get all the little details and different angles covered.
